HII" Everyone welcome to my blog do you know  marginal revenue (MR), you'll need to follow these steps:

calculate marginal revenue

  1. Determine the total revenue function: First, you need to have a function that represents your total revenue (TR) in terms of the quantity of goods or services sold (Q). The total revenue function is usually expressed as TR(Q).

  2. Calculate the total revenue for two different levels of quantity: Choose two quantities of goods or services, Q1 and Q2, where Q2 is greater than Q1.

  3. Calculate the total revenue at Q1 and Q2: Plug these quantities into the total revenue function to find TR(Q1) and TR(Q2).

  4. Calculate the change in total revenue: Subtract TR(Q1) from TR(Q2) to find the change in total revenue, which is TR(Q2) - TR(Q1).

  5. Calculate marginal revenue: Finally, calculate MR by dividing the change in total revenue by the change in quantity (Q2 - Q1): MR = (TR(Q2) - TR(Q1)) / (Q2 - Q1).

Marginal revenue represents the additional revenue generated from selling one more unit of a product or service. It's essential for businesses to understand MR to make pricing and production decisions.
